I’ve always believed that you are only as good as your word. I’ve often said that former President Jimmy Carter has done more damage than good to the United States and I still believe that, especially now.
On September 15th, Jimmy Carter accused an overwhelming number of those who disagree with President Obama’s policies of being racist. Don’t take my word for it, listen to him say it himself.
I think an overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man, that he’s African-American.
I live in the South, and I’ve seen the South come a long way and I’ve seen the rest of the country that shared the South’s attitude toward minority groups at that time, particularly African-Americans.
That racism inclination still exists and I think it’s bubbled up to the surface because of a belief among many white people not just in the South but around the country … that African-Americans are not qualified to lead this great country.
It’s an abominable circumstance and grieves me and concerns me very deeply.
Those were his own words. There is no denying it. He said them, you heard them. There is no changing what he said, well, unless you’re Jimmy Carter, then you’ve got to give it a try.
By the way, that’s not what I said. I said those on the fringe element that had vituperative personal attacks on President Obama, those were the ones that I clearly.. but I recognized
No it wasn’t, if you read the remarks carefully you will see that’s not what I said, I said those that had a personal vituperative attack on President Obama as a person, that was tinged with racism, but I recognize that people who disagree with him on health care or environment … the vast majority of those are not tinged by racism.
I meant exactly what I said.
He keeps telling us to read the transcript of what he said. Why read the transcript? Why not listen to him say those words himself, in his own voice?
Watch the first video again and remember, he meant exactly what he said.
Jimmy Carter is nothing more than a lying hypocrite anxious for the spotlight and relevancy in a world that has long since passed him by.
