I found a printer that will print my business cards the way they are supposed to be printed. I will be heading over there tomorrow or the next day. I sent a complaint letter to Staples via their website, and complained to the staff at our local store. I haven’t heard a word from them, and I am not waiting either. When I get the new cards, I will post the original artwork I supplied Staples (and will supply the new printer with), and then I will scan an example from each one of them. That way you’ll be able to see for yourself.
All the bills are coming due this week, again. It’s going to be close on timing, but I’ll have the money to pay all of the “essential” bills again this month, so life is good. Tomorrow is the 4-month mark for my unemployment status. It sure hasn’t felt like 4 months. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. In honor of the anniversary, I have the final Department of Labor “workshop” on financial management tomorrow afternoon. I can hardly contain my excitement.
I finally got my desk cleaned off and it looks sharp. Now I have to tackle the stack of papers I put just to the left of my desk to make it look so clean. heh. I’m not sure, but I think I will finish that tomorrow.
To teach how to live without certainty and yet without being paralysed by hesitation is perhaps the chief thing that philosophy, in our age, can do for those who study it.
